കുമ്മായം ഇട്ട് 15 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞ് അടുത്ത വളം ഇടാം. കുറച്ച് ചാണകപ്പൊടിയും ഒരു 50 ഗ്രാം എല്ലുപൊടിയും അത്പോലെ ഒരു 50 ഗ്രാം വേപ്പിൻ പിണ്ണാക്കും കൂടെ നന്നായി മിക്സ് ചെയ്യത് മണ്ണിൽ ചേർക്കണം. വിത്ത് പാകിയും കൊടുക്കാം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മുളപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം പറിച്ചു നട്ടാലും മതി. വിത്ത് പാകുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് വിത്ത് വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ട് വെക്കുക. സ്യൂഡോമോണസ് കലക്കിയ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ആയാൽ ഏറ്റവും നല്ലതാണ്.
