Uzhunnuvada recipe

Uzhunnuvada is a traditional in Kerala. It is very easy and tasty snack recipe. It is really aromatic snack recipe. uzhunnuvada is also accommodated as breakfast recipe with sambar or chutney.   • Urad dal-2 cup
  • Onion chopped-2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Green chillies
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Rice flour(if needed)

To prepare uzhunnuvada wash and soak urad dal in water, that is about 3 cups of water atleast 2 or 3 hours. After soaking drain complete water content from urad dal. . After soaking urad dal grind it in a grinder. black gram (urad dal) should not grind nicely, it must be a little rough . The batter must be thick. Cut onion, green chilly, curry leaves in small pieces. Remove grinted batter into a boul and add other ingredients to it. Heat oil in a fry pan or other types of vessels for making uzhunnuvada.
