അധികമാർക്കും അറിയാൻ വഴിയില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഈ മരുന്നിനെ കുറിച്ച് വിശദമായി പരിചയപ്പെടാം. ഇതിനായി നമ്മൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ബോർഡോമിശ്രിതം ആണ്. ബോർഡോ മിശ്രിതം തൂക്കുന്ന ഭാഗത്തെ കമ്പുകൾ പൊട്ടാതിരിക്കുകയും മറ്റു കീട ആ,ക്രമണങ്ങളും ഫംഗൽ അസുഖങ്ങളും പിടിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. തുരിശും ചുണ്ണാമ്പും അടങ്ങിയിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു മിശ്രിതമാണ് ബോർഡോ മിശ്രിതം.
മഴക്കാലങ്ങളിൽ കീടശല്യം കൂടുതൽ ആയിരിക്കുകയും കൂടാതെ തളിരില വരികയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിനാൽ വേനൽക്കാലങ്ങളിൽ കട്ട്‌ ചെയ്തു മിശ്രിതം തേച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ് നല്ലത്. ബോഡോ മിശ്രിതം തേച്ചതിനു ശേഷം തളിര് വാടി പോകുന്നതിനാൽ ഇവ തണലിൽ ആയി മാറ്റി വയ്ക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. തണലിൽ വെച്ച് ഇവയുടെ ബ്രാഞ്ചുകൾ കറക്റ്റ് ആയി വന്നതിനു ശേഷം പിന്നീട് വെയിലത്തേക്ക് മാറ്റാവുന്നതാണ്.

Mango tree pruning tips
Start Early (for young trees):
Begin pruning 6–8 weeks after planting to shape the tree and develop a strong framework.
Cut the main stem at about 80–90 cm height to promote 3–4 strong lateral branches (scaffold branches).
Remove Problem Branches:
Cut out all dead, diseased, crossing, or low-hanging branches. This prevents infections, improves air circulation, and allows sunlight to reach all parts of the tree.
Maintain Height and Shape:
Keep the tree height around 12–15 feet. This makes it easier to harvest, spray, and maintain.
Remove vertical shoots and favor horizontal growth for balance and stability.
Open the Canopy:
Thinning out the dense interior branches improves air flow and light penetration, which enhances fruit color and reduces pests and diseases.
Tip Pruning:
Before flowering, prune young vegetative shoots lightly to encourage flowering rather than excessive leafy growth.
Rejuvenating Old Trees:
For unproductive older trees, cut back large branches (called skeletonizing) to just above the main frame. Paint large cuts with white paint or fungicide paste to prevent sunburn and infection.
