1. Citric Acid Paste Method:
   Make a paste by dissolving about 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 2 tablespoons of very hot water, then mix in enough flour to form a thick paste. Apply this to the printed area and leave for 5–10 minutes. After the paste hardens, scrape it off and wipe the print with a damp cloth. For stubborn prints, soaking the glass in a saturated citric acid solution with gentle heat (like in a microwave) can help loosen the print better.
2. Heat and Scrape Method:
   Use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm the print for about 30 seconds to soften adhesives or paints. Then gently peel or scrape off the print with a plastic scraper or the back of a razor blade. Work slowly to avoid scratching the glass.
3. Solvent and Abrasive:
   Acetone (nail polish remover), rubbing alcohol, or commercial adhesive removers like Goo Gone can dissolve some ink types. Apply with a cloth or cotton ball, let it sit a few minutes, then rub gently. A magic eraser sponge can also help remove ink without scratching.
4. Natural Acid Rub:
   Rubbing lime or lemon juice on the print for a minute or two lets the citric acid break down the ink. Then use a razor blade or scraper to lift and wipe it clean.
5. Soaking and Scrubbing:
   Soaking the glass in vinegar or a combination of water and baking soda for several hours can soften the print or label for easier removal with scrubbing.

Important Tips:

• Avoid harsh scraping that might scratch or chip the glass.
• Test solvents on a small area first to check for any adverse reactions.
• For baked-on or screen-printed glass that is fused onto the surface, removal may be difficult and might require sanding, polishing, or professional refinishing.

By combining gentle heat, citric acid or citrus juice, and scraping with care, you can often remove unwanted print from glass safely and effectively. If one method doesn’t fully work, trying a combination usually helps.
